ABOUT CHESHIRE BAKING COMPANY

Every since I was a little girl I have wanted to open a bakery. Waking early in the morning and starting my day in a cloud of the aromas of fresh baked muffins, sweets, and heavenly chocolate is what dreams are made of, right? I carried my childhood dream into my forties and I decided there is no time like the present, so let's do this! 

CBC is not your average bakery. We do not have a storefront ... yet. We currently rent space and time at a commercial kitchen in Hamden where I create all my goodies. We are hoping for a storefront in Cheshire soon. For now, orders can be emailed or called in. All orders are delivered, and with continued support from the awesome people of Cheshire, a storefront is in the near future.

 

I bake in small batches, and everything is delivered fresh. I use the highest quality ingredients and I never use preservatives. Cakes and cupcakes are frosted with our secret recipe buttercream.

I am blessed to be able to work side by side my my husband, Michael. He is the fondant guru and does all of the fondant work you see on our page.

 

As our business grows, our menu will too. If you don't see something on the menu, please ask. Seasonal flavors, as well as my Swedish family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation will make appearances now and then.
